Kudos to you and your family for challenging yourselves this way! I feel like I’ve definitely fossilized in the 13 years I’ve now lived in San Francisco, when I had moved cities and countries every 3-5 years between 18 and 34! I do miss that excitement of discovering a new city and gaining those “new eyes” as you say!
